R acquired 10,000 customers last year after an investment of one hundred million euros

The Galician cable company R, integrated into MásMóvil for a year, concluded 2022 with 10,000 more customers than the year before. Growth that continued at an even faster pace in the first quarter of this year, in which they are progressing “as much as in the whole of 2022”, as announced yesterday in A Coruña by the director of the company and MásMóvil group in Galicia, Alfredo Ramos. At the end of last December R represented almost 205,000 fixed broadband services and 400,000 postpaid mobile lines, thus exceeding the limit of 600,000 users.with.

Ramos connected this jump in the number of users with connectivity improvements which the company achieved after investing one hundred million euros in the fiber optic and 5G network.

According to the company’s director, almost 85% of Galicia’s population already has R’s 5G coverage. In this regard, Ramos pointed out that the company “is the market leader in Internet coverage, with 1.6 million homes and companies covered in Galicia with the latest generation of optical fibers” and said that by the end of this year they expect to reach 98% of Galician homes with fiber or 5G.
