Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (separate) announced that he would sue Ministry of Transport for what it considers an “abusive setting” of minimum services in the strike the pilot Air Europe.
In a press release, Sepla explains that the minimum services established by Transport for the pilots’ strike on May 1, 2, 4 and 5 — which protect 157 out of 175 flights — prevent the exercise of the constitutional right to strike, for which the ministry will sue.
For Sepla, these minimum services protect the interests of airline managers, “allowing them to carry out unfair practices to subjugate a group of workers who are legitimately fighting for their rights.”
To show their rejection, Sepla, the USO, the Airline Passenger Cabin Crew Union (Sitcpla) and the Spanish Union of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians Association (Asetma) will gather on May 5 at the Promet headquarters.
