With the presence of 7,000 students, Juden 2023 begins

A team of Panama Commercial Institute beat Panama Cristian Academy School by 6 goals to 0, in the middle category, at the beginning of the regular football round of the National Student Sports Games (Juden), organized by the Ministry of Education (Meduca) and which began with the participation of more than 7,000 elementary, middle and high school students school.

The teams with the best results will advance to the quarter-finals, from which the qualifiers for the semi-finals will emerge until the selection of the winner who will advance to the grand final, which will be held on May 5 at the playground Panama College.

In this initiative to encourage academic success, students will compete in football, basketball, baseball, softball (girls)chess, volleyball, karate, handball, table tennis, karate do, athletics, judo, wrestling, among other disciplines.

Primary, middle and high school students of official schools and individuals from different zones and regions, participate in Juden, which will culminate in October, when athletes will have the opportunity to develop a social and cooperative environment, maintain physical and mental health and use their free time, in recreational activities, which contribute to the complete development of a person as a social entity .

Student participation through sports disciplines will strengthen integration with family, fellow students, teachers and a sense of belonging to the institution or school they represent.
