Vodafone is listening to offers to buy its Spanish subsidiary

The Bloomberg agency assures that the group is willing to consider proposals at the “right price”

British group Vodafone You receive offers to buy for yours Spanish branchestimated at more than 4,000 million dollars (about 3,700 million euros), according to the economic information agency Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the talks. Although the company has not yet opened a formal process to divest the assets, it would be willing to consider offers “at the right price.” Among the candidates, Bloomberg lists the investment fund Apollo Global Management Inc.

Negotiations are ongoing and it is not certain whether a result will be reached. Representatives of Apollo and Vodafone declined to comment to Bloomberg.

Vodafone Spain is going through tough times with losses in market share, revenue and margins.
