Peru missed the deadlines for hosting the U-17 World Cup

“Despite the good cooperation between FIFA and FPF, It was decided that there is not enough time to secure the investment and complete the work with the Peruvian government before the start of the competition,” said the statement of the highest football entity.

FIFA clarifies that, “however, the competition will continue to be held from November 10 to December 2 this year” and that a new host will be named at a later date.
