Three fairs with more than 600 companies from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia held this week in Panama generated transactions in the amount of 134.4 million dollars, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), the organizer of the event, reported this Friday.
International Tourism Fair, Panama Logistics Expo and Expocomerwhich took place between Tuesday and last Thursday, also generated an economic benefit of $48.2 million, CCIAP confirmed.
Exhibitor companies and buyers of three exhibitions “they managed to establish business opportunities, as well as more than 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors who made more than 16,450 business contacts with entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries in the region”specified by CCIAP.
“The Union is pleased to have hosted trade fairs of this quality and importance, which developed in parallel to show the world that our country is ready to host congresses and international events in the same world’s first convention center,” said the outgoing president of CCIAP, Marcela Galindo.
