You can follow the meeting in which three experts will participate from 12:00 on the website and Facebook page of La Voz

Despite the turbulent economic scenario we are immersed in, with inflation difficult to tame and an increasingly problematic geopolitical situation, the current context is also full of great investment opportunities. Even after the financial storm that broke out a few days ago, connoisseurs of this matter still see great opportunities for those looking for where to invest their savings.

Today, three experts will review some of these possibilities with La Voz journalist María Meizoso at a forum organized in collaboration with BBVA. The match can be followed live at 12:00 on the La Voz de Galicia website and on the newspaper’s Facebook page.

It will be attended by the person in charge of investment strategies in BBVA private banking in Spain, Álvaro Manteca; Director of Private Banking for BBVA Northwest Territory, Marina Pérez Razquin; and Pictet Asset Management’s Deputy General Manager for Iberia and Latin America, Patricia de Arriaga.

economic perspectives

These three experts will review some of the economic outlook for 2023, after BBVA Research (the bank’s research service) reveals its growth forecasts for the year. In fact, the meeting coincides with a recent upward revision by the consultant’s experts. Thus, the world economy is expected to grow by 2.8%, compared to the 2.3% predicted in previous forecasts. In the case of Spain, the figures have also improved. Compared to the 1.2% growth they posted in their previous outlook report, BBVA Research now expects the Spanish economy to grow by 1.6%.

The same is true for the euro area, which went from a situation of practical stagnation to a mild growth of 0.6%.
