Agro-industry, logistics and tourism are among the economic sectors whose activities are called upon to promote the long-term development of the country, according to Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (Cciap).
Through the press release, the union emphasized that for these items, structured planning is indeed a significant need statewhich defines the path where we are going, so that they have a positive effect on Panamanians.
“These three sectors also require constant teaching and updating, as they are activities where human resources must be up-to-date in terms of technology, process optimization and customer service.”To add.
The business union indicates that in logistics, where Panama plays an important role throughout the world, important transformations are taking place at the international level, forcing the country to stay abreast to become a key player in the development of resilient supply chains.
We are also strengthening our logistics platform by introducing new types of industries that are becoming opportunities for job creation and long-term sustainable development.
“We will spend the end of the month in the Chamber of Commerce Panama Logistics Expo where different companies focused on logistics will participate, which will contribute to the development of the sector in this direction with their goods and services”, he adds.
Cciap explains that on various occasions he has held discussions with producers in mountainous regions about the challenges facing the agricultural sector in order to introduce new technologies that allow them to be more competitive and efficient in relation to the demands export markets.
The reason why they directly support the quality technical education he provides agro-industrial sector to the next level and thus transform it into an engine of national development.
“For its part, tourism must be recognized by all actors in our society as a fundamental activity for our economic development, which is why, at the national level, it requires coordinated work around Panama that lives for More! to attract international tourists in an agile way and with quality products that set us apart from the competition”.
Faced with this, they hope to present International tourism fair next March 28, 29 and 30.
Economists timely point out that recent times have shown that as a nation we must strengthen our analysis and planning processes, since this is the only way for actors – government, private companies and civil society – to agree on a clear plan that is easy to implement, so that we are competitive at the international level where the competition for the attraction of capital is fierce.
“Those who show knowledge, order, structure and clear rules of the game for increasing capital will be the winners, on the contrary, it will repel investors from our geographical area and take them to ports they consider more attractive and safer”they pointed out.
