From 2035 Internal combustion cars may not be sold in the European Union. On February 14, the European Parliament voted to ban the sale of gasoline and diesel vehicles on that date. Therefore, vehicles sold after January 1, 2035 will have to have zero pollutants. In other words, neutral in terms of emissions: electric, hydrogen or new generation fuels.

However, Germany postponed the agreement this Thursdaysince during the formal adoption procedure Berlin demanded additional guarantees to protect cars that use clean synthetic fuels in their engines.
