The Association of Registers points out in its Yearbook that 162 branches of foreign companies registered in Spain were registered in 2022, compared to 174 registered in 2021.

An average of 54 days in face-to-face creation and 38 in telematics

The association of registrars points out that it once again emphasizes the use of technology in the display of individual deposits in the commercial register. Online digital deposit accounted for 91.9% of the total amount, and face-to-face digital deposit accounted for 2.6%. For its part, the paper format remained at the remaining 5.5%. Thus, 95 out of 100 deposits to accounts were submitted digitally.

The number of accounts presented in 2022, corresponding to the annual accounts for the financial year 2021, decreased by 4.4% compared to the previous year, to 1,290,817 deposits.
