Air Nostrum pilots are back on strike this Monday

Author: XOAN CARLOS GIL

It will take place every Monday and Friday and will last indefinitely.

Air Nostrum pilots are back on strike this Monday. The Spanish Airline Pilots Union (Sepla) began an indefinite strike at Air Nostrum on Monday, similar to the one it carried out in December and January at all bases and workplaces. As explained by the union, it will be for an indefinite period and will take place every Monday and Friday. The workers’ representatives justify their decision by “the refusal of the company to meet the legitimate demands of the workers” at the meetings of the strike committee and the management of the company on February 22 and 23.

The pilots’ union complained about the “immobility” shown by the airline during the meetings and the “lack of seeking a solution to the labor dispute”, as well as the fact that the management scheduled “only two meetings with the strike committee in February and March”.
