1766 companies applied for the sixth edition of this award

Small and medium-sized enterprises in the country are of exceptional importance for the Spanish economy. Banco Santander and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce are aware of this. The numbers speak for themselves. The productive structure of our country consists of two types of companies: large, which make up a small percentage of the entire network, and small and medium-sized companies, a very heterogeneous group that makes up 90% of the Spanish business ecosystem.

In order to recognize the complicated task that all these companies perform every day, the two entities will once again recognize the work of all of them through the National Award for Small and Medium Enterprises in 2022, an award convened by Banco Santander and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain annually and whose purpose to recognize the performance of small and medium-sized Spanish companies, whose activity is essential for the creation of jobs and wealth at the local level.
