How much do Panamanians use ‘apps’ when looking for work?

Job applications in Panama continue to gain in importance. According to Konzert’s study, Digital Recruitment and Application 2024, 81% people believe that digital platforms offer more opportunities to get a job, compared to 19% who do not believe this.

The report further indicates that 6 out of 10 people prefer the selection process to be 100% digitalwhile 33% tend to do it in person.

In this sense, for 65% of respondents it is much easier to carry out the application process on digital platforms, 23% stated that it is just as easy, and 12% stated that it is more difficult for them to carry out it on digital platforms. platforms.

In terms of frequency, 30% of Panamanians claim to log into the portals every day, 17% state that several times a month, 14% do so every time they see a publication they are interested in, and 13% do so when actively searching.

How often do you update your resume? The study shows that 39% of Panamanian talent update their profile and CV when they are actively looking for a job, while 23% do so when they have an important update such as completing a course, study or promotion, 18% do so once a month, 7% do so every day, another 7% do it once a week, and 6% say they do it several times a month.

Projecting trends for 5 years, 49% of talents claim that this process will be completely digitalized in the future, 22% say there will be more use of artificial intelligence, 17% believe it will stay the same, and 12% believe there will be more emphasis on providing a personalized hiring experience.

From this Monday until March 24, Expo Konzerta Online 2024 is being held. More than 80 national and multinational companies are participating in the activity, and they will be looking for the best talents in Panama to fill more than 4,500 vacancies.

Once the resume is posted on Konzerta.com, participants will be able to leave their resume at each company’s virtual stand at any time during the week of this job fair.

The HR teams will then analyze the profiles to find those who meet the requirements of each vacancy and they will be contacted to continue moving forward in the recruitment process.
