Job applications in Panama continue to gain in importance. According to Konzert’s study, Digital Recruitment and Application 2024, 81% people believe that digital platforms offer more opportunities to get a job, compared to 19% who do not believe this.

In terms of frequency, 30% of Panamanians claim to log into the portals every day, 17% state that several times a month, 14% do so every time they see a publication they are interested in, and 13% do so when actively searching.

The study shows that 39% of Panamanian talent update their profile and CV when they are actively looking for a job, while 23% do so when they have an important update such as completing a course, study or promotion, 18% do so once a month, 7% do so every day, another 7% do it once a week, and 6% say they do it several times a month.

Projecting trends for 5 years, 49% of talents claim that this process will be completely digitalized in the future, 22% say there will be more use of artificial intelligence, 17% believe it will stay the same, and 12% believe there will be more emphasis on providing a personalized hiring experience.
