The tender for the Tocumen slopes remains in the hands of the court

The Administrative Court for Public Procurement (TACP) will decide on the final award of tenders for the rehabilitation and maintenance of runways Tocumen International Airport (Aitsa).

Aitsa must deliver within a maximum of three working days all documentation that corresponds to the challenged public act, as well as interested persons can appear before the court to present their allegations, also within three working days, counting from the publication of the decision.

The Aero Pista Tocumen consortium was the same as filed the lawsuit on December 21 last year against the report of the evaluation commission, which gave the highest rating to the Tocumen consortium.

As a result of the aforementioned claim, on January 4 of this year, in General Administration for Public Procurement partially annulled the report of the commission for evaluating the public event.

Raffoul Arab, general manager of Aitsahe said in the first days of the year that the rehabilitation of the airport’s runways is one of the main projects for the rest of his administration.
