Tocumen mobilized more than 1.5 million passengers in February

Arab believes that the increase in demand for air transport brings with it important logistical and operational challenges that have been overcome, maintaining standards of safety, efficiency and quality of service.

According to data from Tocumen International Airport Statistics Departmentthe markets with the highest regional movement in February were South America with 44%, followed by North America with 29%, the Caribbean with 11%, while Central America contributed with 11% and European markets with a share of 5%.

Destinations and markets

As for international connections, in the month of February Tocumen maintains direct lines to 87 destinationsthrough 15 commercial airlines that offer services to the capitals of America and Europe.

They operate at Tocumen International Airport 30 airlines, 15 cargo airlines and 15 passenger airlines.

The results for February show that of the total number of passengers who used the Tocumen terminal, 69% were connecting passengers. In addition, 12,184 aircraft movements were managed.
