Junior surfers will have their first stop in 2024 on DST

Everything is ready for the Junior Surf tournament, which will be held from March 2 to 3 at Santa Catalina Beach, organized by the Panama Children and Youth Surf Club, and this is the first tournament in 2024.

Junior surfers from all over Panama will compete in this first competition which starts in Santa Catalina/Veraguas and will continue later in Playa Venao/Los Santos, after moving to Chame/Western Panama to return and close in Santa Catalina.

Junior surfers will compete in the province of Veragua in “Punta de Santa Catalina”, and the smaller ones on the waves of Playa El Estero.

The Forte Naturals Cup will be played at the tournament, which will be divided into two parts, and at the end the points will be added up, and the winner will be the one who gets the most points in each category.

The DST club regularly holds competitions, which is vital to continuing to connect the surfing community in the sport’s development and competition, says Denisse González, from the club.
