Adrenaline in Ironman 70.3 Panama

Everything is ready for the new edition of the Ironman 70.3 Panama LatinAmerica TriClub, which will take place next Sunday, February 25, with the participation of more than 1,300 athletes from 28 countries around the world.

The big absence will be the Panamanian Argentine María Florencia Fraga, the winner of last year’s edition. Fraga is injured, and the Panamanian Katherine Fernández is also out of the machine, who assures that she is not 100% for the competition.

For her part, Williana Rojas, who is a great competitor, just took part in Texas and Kona in the United States last year, and is one of the contenders for the podium this Sunday.

Billy Gordón, Anel Acosta, Carmen Villarreal, Diego Lucero, Peter Vega, Claudia Lainez and Diego Castillo have also confirmed their participation.

“For me, the preparations for Ironman.70.3 are the beginning of my preparations for the competition year. Ironman is a festival of triathlon, for me it is not the most important thing because I have my first world championship in my head and I am looking for the placement of the World Games. I am ready to enjoy and the goal is to win the Latin American Championship of three clubs, last year we were second and we want to reach the top of the podium, Acosta said.
