The government will be the one to coordinate guided visits to the mine

Minister of Commerce and Industry, Jorge Rivera Staff met with company leaders Minera Panama SAwhere he referred to the topic of the visit to Cobra Panamá and the inspection of the mine’s prevention and safe management plan.

Rivera staff drew the attention of executives, who explained their interest in opening the doors of Cobra Panamá through a “visitor program,” which allows them to publicize the progress of the care and maintenance process the company will carry out. .

The minister clarified that it is the national government that will coordinate and determine these monitoring visits, in accordance with An orderly and final closure plan mines, and it is the company that must execute them based on government guidelines.

Minera Panamá has announced a program for visitors with the main goal of getting to know what is happening in the mine today.
