Panamanian Adalberto ‘Coco’ Carrasquilla will continue with him Houston Dynamo two more seasons, as the player himself announced MLS on his Instagram profile.

Midfielder Carrasquilla who is 25 years old, has signed a contract until the 2025 season with an option to continue with the club in the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

Carrasquilla started all five of Houston’s MLS Cup playoff games, registering a key assist in the first game against Royal Salt Lake to secure a 2-1 win and clinch the title.
Carrasquilla He was a permanent starter in the unconditional midfield Houston last year, playing a key role in the Dynamo winning the 2023 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, reaching the Western Conference Finals and earning a spot in Concacaf Champions Cup 2024.

Carrasquilla just finished his third season in the MLS, arrives in Houston in August 2021 on loan from the Spanish club FC Cartagena (Houston exercised the purchase option in May 2022).
The Panamanian made a total of 67 appearances in Houston Dynamo (56 as a starter) in the regular season with Dynamo, scoring six goals and a total of 12 assists.
“Last year, our team showed that Houston Dynamo can be a real contender in MLS again,” said Carrasquilla. “My family has called Houston home for three years and I look forward to working with my teammates to make our city proud with their team. We have worked hard during pre-season and hope to build a solid campaign for next year.”
Dinamo opens the year on February 20 when they meet with Louis CITY SC in the first round of the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup, Houston will open the regular season on February 24 when they host Sporting Kansas City in it Shell Energy Stadium.
