Panama’s Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno will face Japan’s undefeated Hayato Tsutsumi at featherweight (126 pounds) in a fight where the winner will be well placed in the WBA world rankings.
Japan’s Tsutsumi told the media in his country that he was preparing to seek a knockout against the Panamanian boxer who was the super bantamweight world champion (118 pounds), but he also admitted that “Chemito” has a lot of experience and maintains good boxing, despite the move up two divisions .
Tsutsumi is undefeated in 4 fights, has one knockout and is following in the footsteps of “Chemit” Moreno.
“His body is strong, I feel that there are no unnecessary movements compared to the past. His movements are more refined,” replied the 24-year-old Japanese Hayato Tsutsumi, giving his opinion on the Panamanian Moreno and repeated “I always aim for a knockout victory.”
Moreno, 38, who holds the WBA Fedelatín featherweight title, has a record of 43 wins, 6 losses, one draw and 15 knockouts.
“Chemito” Moreno is ninth in the world rankings, and Hayato Tsutsumi is tenth, so the winner of this fight could be placed among the top three in the rankings, where the world champion title is vacant.
