Olympique and Murillo are looking to continue leading their group

Olympique de Marseille, played for by Panamanian Michael Amir Murillo, welcomes Ajax from the Netherlands (Netherlands) today in the fifth round match of Group B of the Europa League at (3:00 p.m. Isthmus time).

Since his arrival at Olympique de Marseille, Murillo has played in 3 Europa League games and 4 in the French championship, to accumulate an average of 324 minutes played so far, according to transfermark.

In the current European League tournament, the French team leads Group B with 8 points, while the English Brighton has 7 points, AEK from Athens, Greece (4) and Ajax (2).

Another Panamanian who could see action in the Europa League is Chorreran defender Andrés Andrada, when his team Lask of Austria face Liverpool of England in Group E, at (15:00 Isthmian time).

The Austrian Lask is last in its group with only 3 points, while Liverpool is the leader with 9 points.

The second place in this group is the French Toulouse with 7 points, which will oppose the Belgian Union Saint-Gilloise with 4.

Although Lask was unlucky as a team in the European Championship, it is worth noting that Andrade started all the Europa League games, except in the qualifiers for the regional tournament and in the domestic championship in Austria.

Andrade played 1,844 minutes for Lask in the current part of the season, which says something positive for the Panamanian individually.
