A dozen young Panamanian golf talents will compete in the USA Kids Golf Caribbean Championship 2023, which will take place on the 24th and 25th of this month in La Cana Golf Club at the Westin Puntacana Resort & Club in the Dominican Republic.
The Panamanian delegation will consist ofr Juan Alberto Duncan, in the 8 years category; Liz Marie González, Sofía Jaén and Leopoldo Benedetti, in 10 years.
It will also have action; Juan Raúl Boyd, for 11 years and Felipe Duncan for 12 years; Diego Alfaro, at 13-14 years old; Alessandra Arango and Carlos Raúl Duncan, for 15 to 18 years.
The championship, which is being held for the fourth year in a row, will be held during Thanksgiving week in Zagreb United Statess, and players who win will have direct access USA Junior World Championshipswhich is celebrated every year in Pine Hurst, North Carolina.
About 100 players of both sexes, aged 7 to 18, will participate in the tournament United States, Panama, Canada, Brazil, Puerto Rico, France, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic.
Panamanian golfers come to this invitation to the Dominican tournament, depending on the status of the individual player who achieves good results in American Children’s Local Tour, which carries forward OFFGOLF.
The Panamanian national team is expected to perform well in this international tournament.
