Capamec is betting on Panama as a financial center

The Panama Chamber of Capital Markets (CAPAMEC) presented its new board of directors with a vision of regional expansion and a commitment to bring Panama into a financial center.

He future president, Sergi Lucas, he shared his vision of continuing with the projects that have been developed so far, accelerating the pace of development of the chamber, so that the chamber continues to position itself as a benchmark in the sector, not only at the national level, but also regionally.

Lucas emphasized the importance of this mandate because of the challenges ahead, including improving the current law that allows Panama to position itself as a financial center within compliance.

Likewise, CAPAMEC is recognized as the leading organization for the promotion and development of the capital market in Panama.

In the meantime, outgoing president, Jorge Vélez He pointed out that in the two years of his mandate, we managed to add value to the members, we adopted changes to the statutes and added new members.
