Women’s U-17 in a very difficult group

The Panama U-17 Women’s National Team has been placed in a very complicated group after the draw for the group stage of the 2024 Concacaf Women’s Championship.

Under the leadership of Argentine coach Víctor Suárez, Panama is placed in Group B of the tournament, along with the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Group A consisted of: Mexico, Haiti, Costa Rica and El Salvador.

The Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship will be held in Toluca, Mexico from February 1-11, 2024, giving three tickets to the World Cup.

Panama will make their debut on February 2 against the United States.

The teams will play against each other in the same group, and the two best teams from each group go to the semi-finals of individual matches.

The two finalists of the tournament and the third place winner will win a ticket to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
