Luis Navas was selected in American football

The “Future of Soccer” list, chaired by Luis Navas García, aimed at implementing a modernization plan to strengthen and promote this fast-growing sport, won the elections of the American Football Federation of Panama (AFFP) unanimously. , in an act held according to the calendar and regulations of Pandeportes.

Navas García is followed in the board of directors until 2026 by Analisa Díaz, vice president; Carlos Flores, secretary; Ricardo Barrios Cobas, treasurer; Henis Ortega, prosecutor and for members: Verónica Vega, Margarita Abraham, Esteban Ripoll, Emiliano Tuñón, Luis Carrillo and Fausto Campagna.

Additionally, Miguel Ángel Remón and Ricardo Ramos contribute their experience in other sports, according to the current board of directors.

“We are very proud of the opportunity provided for our team to carry out its work plan aimed at the modernization and development of sports based on good governance, transparency and social responsibility, in order to gradually massify the interior of the country. , international participation, promotion of lower categories and technical training in Flag and Contact”.

Navas García is also an engineer by profession, founder of the PTY Flag League, world champion flag team manager (2016) and sports director for over 17 years.

The newly elected president of the AFFP called on all players in Panamanian football to come together to work hand in hand, in collaboration with Pandeportes and the Panamanian Olympic Committee, on the way to the important meetings marked in the sports calendar.
