In third place in the ranking of the most valuable technology brands in the world is Google (EUR 271,200 million), followed by Microsoft (EUR 184,600 million) and Samsung (EUR 79,700 million), so that the ‘top 5’ is dominated by four American companies and one South Korean one.
In sixth place is TikTok (63.3 billion euros), which exceeded Facebook (56.8 billion euros), WeChat (48.4 billion euros), Instagram (45.7 billion euros) and Huawei (42.7 billion euros). .
Regarding Huawei being among the ‘top 10’ most valuable tech brands in the world, Brand Finance noted that the company managed to be there “despite headwinds from global political challenges, semiconductor shortages and a global decline in smartphone demand.”
“Huawei remains among the ten most valuable technology brands, although the value of its brand fell by 30%, to 42.7 billion euros. Huawei’s consumer business, which offers smartphones, tablets and other consumer electronics, has been hit the hardest by various challenges. However, the brand’s other operations, such as transportation and business operations, performed relatively well,” the report’s authors added.
