Mariano Rivera Stadium 35% complete

The High Performance Baseball Center and Mariano Rivera Stadium, located in La Chorrera, are 35% advanced in construction, according to a statement from Pandeportes.

This sports center that will have the specifications required by Major League Baseball (MLB) and the High Performance Center will be the first in the country dedicated to the preparation of our baseball players.

The cost of the works has a total investment of B/. 41,737,893.24, and the company Rigaservice SA is responsible for the construction of these state-of-the-art baseball facilities in the country.

In the inspection carried out by Pandeportes and its director Luis Denis Arce, the first tour was held together with the management committee of the stadium headed by Alberto Áviles.

Arce indicated that efforts are being made to make both acts sustainable, with transparency to continue promoting baseball in Panama and Central America.

During the inspection, it was possible to see about 200 workers, who are carrying out the tasks of emptying the ring road, the parking lot, the metal structure of the left field and the retaining wall is being installed.’
