Panama, to the California Junior World Golf Championship

A team of 10 young Panamanian golf talents, who have promised to leave the country’s name high, will represent Panama in the picture Academic Junior World Championshipip, which will be played from next July 11 at San Diego, California, United States.

Panama will present on this occasion Gabriela González, Alessandra Arango, Samuel Durán and Emilio Bonilla in the 15-18 years category; at 9-10, Juan Raúl Boyd and Aurelio Gómez; in 11-12, Ricardo Arango and Felipe Duncan and in 13-14: Oscar Espino and Pablo Brenes. The golfers who represent us are selected based on their performance and results in Junior Tour APAGOLF SUB18 2022-2023.

Durán, with the most experience in the group, said he would be playing on a tough field, but that he was prepared to give his all in this competition, which is considered one of the top events in this category.

Gómez, aged 9 to 10, explained that he followed his coach’s instructions and was ready to represent the country, doing his best.
