Princess Diana’s popular tiara and sparkling dress: Kate Middleton became the star of the wedding reception in Jordan 02.06.2023, 09:45

The bright couple of the British monarchy joined the wedding ceremony of Jordan’s Prince Hussein and his fiancee Rajwa al-Saif. The reception was held at the residence of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania in Amman – Al-Husseiniya Palace, 1700 guests were invited.

The Princess of Wales proved to be one of the most exquisitely and elegantly dressed ladies. She opted for a £4,357 Jenny Packham Georgia dress in rose gold embroidered with glittering rhinestones. Featuring a fitted silhouette and a flowing floor-length skirt with a train, the dress allowed the Queen to show off her slim figure.

The princess was given an understated evening make-up, her hair for added volume, curled into large curls, swept back and left to flow loosely down her back. Kate Middleton donned the famous Lover’s Knot headdress that once belonged to William’s late mother Princess Diana for the special occasion. The heir to the throne’s wife often wears this family heirloom to ceremonial receptions. Kate’s look was completed with a Prada box and Greville Chandelier earrings.

The representative of the British monarchy has already come out in the same dress from the elite designer, but in an emerald version. She wore it to a reception at the Fashion Finder headquarters in 2021. Prince William looked flawless in the traditional tailcoat.

Another royal guest from Britain attended the reception – 34-year-old Princess Beatrice arrived at the wedding in the company of her 39-year-old husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Royal families from the Netherlands, Liechtenstein and Sweden also appeared in the ballroom, according to the Daily Mail.

Earlier, guests watched the wedding of Sandhurst graduate Hussein and 28-year-old Saudi Arabian architect Rajwa in the gardens of Zahran Palace. The bride looked dazzling in a dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab with a long train embroidered with flowers and a sparkling diamond tiara.

King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan proudly watched their son’s wedding during an Islamic ceremony known as “katb ktab” performed in a picturesque gazebo by the Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court, Dr. Ahmed Al Khalayl.
