During her short career, Judith managed to appear in 70 commercials, four television projects and three films. Most often she played girls younger than her actual age, as she was small in stature and looked 7-8 years old at 10 years old.
But as soon as the spotlights on the rest area went out, Judith’s life plunged into darkness. Both she and her mother suffered domestic violence at the hands of the head of the family, Joseph Barsi. The man was a typical loser, insulted by the whole world and took all his anger out on those closest to him. While his daughter began to receive handsome fees, Joseph was an unemployed alcoholic. The idea that he was financially dependent on little Judith caused him a burning jealousy that turned into paranoia. On the night of July 26, 1988, a man shot first his daughter, then his wife, and then committed suicide.
Fame came to this ordinary Soviet boy when he played the main role in the short story “Leader of the Redskins” in Leonid Gaidai’s film “Business People”. Tikhonov’s partners were the famous Georgy Vitsin and Alexei Smirnov, but the charismatic 12-year-old child was not at all lost against their background. After Sergey continued to act, directors and other actors noticed his talent.
However, later Tikhonov was not taken to VGIK. He had served in the army and after returning to civilian life it seemed that he might try his luck again. Unfortunately, he was not destined to wait for new entrance exams. One day in April, in the 22nd year of his life, Tikhonov fell under a tram and died.
Heather was born into a simple family – her mother was a seamstress and her father was a builder. Heather’s work in Hollywood subsequently allowed the family to significantly improve their financial situation and move to a larger house.
However, an evil fate seemed to hang over the blonde girl from the very beginning. The first danger passed tangentially while Heather was still in the womb. She had a miscarriage, which resulted in the death of Heather’s twin.
Heather’s own health was also poor. But being misdiagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 1987 proved fatal, and she was treated for something completely different from what the baby was actually suffering from.
In the movies, the girl became famous for the role of Carol Ann Freeling in the Poltergeist trilogy. Moreover, it was noticed by Steven Spielberg himself, who wrote the script. The director noticed the girl in the dining room of the studio, where she was having lunch with her mother. And if Spielberg had previously considered choosing his goddaughter Drew Barrymore for the role, now he knew for sure that this little stranger was the one he was looking for.
After finishing work on the third part of the horror film, Heather felt bad. At first, the parents thought she had the flu, but the girl’s condition worsened and became critical. She vomited constantly, her hands froze, she lost consciousness. She was taken to the hospital, but there Heather died of cardiac arrest. That’s when it turned out she had intestinal stenosis, not Crohn’s disease. The final cause of death of the 12-year-old girl was myocardial infarction due to septic shock due to intestinal stenosis.
