In 2016, the performer of the hit “Fellow Traveler” experienced a severe flu, which led to a complication in the form of otitis media. The singer even had to undergo an operation, because among the risks was a complete loss of hearing, but everything went well. It is true that Slava had to postpone several concerts due to health problems.
In 2020, Slava suffered a severe hand injury. The singer fell and broke her shoulder, and the bone was not only displaced, but also crushed. Post-surgery, fame noted with humor that she apparently needed to write a positive song to break the “black wave.” Indeed, in one of her major hits, “Loneliness,” there is a line like this: “… I can’t feel my heart, I can’t feel my hand.”
Not everyone dares to talk openly about psychological problems, but Sláva showed by personal example that this topic cannot be covered up.
In March 2023, the singer revealed that she had consulted a psychiatrist.
“I’m saving myself from depression! Seriously! I went to the psychiatrist yesterday. I’ve put off visiting five times and now I’ve made up my mind. I thought I was the strongest in the world, I could handle everything… Rest didn’t help: neither this nor the previous ones,” Slava admitted.
In less than a few months, another blow to health came. At the end of May 2023, Sláva was urgently hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration in his condition. Doctors suspected the singer of pneumonia, and information also appeared on the network that the pop star had a high fever and started vomiting. At the same time, everyone got sick this time: Sláv’s daughter Alexandra and her grandson, who is only a few months old, also felt bad.
