The actress bravely documented her journey with cancer. She described how she was diagnosed at the age of 25 on her personal blog. “Last night I was walking home from a friend’s after drinking too much red wine when I noticed I looked strangely bloated,” Samantha wrote. “I knew I wasn’t pregnant because I was single. My roommate assured me that this happens to her girlfriend all the time and it was just ovulation or something… The next thing I remember is being in the hospital under the surgical lights at the disco, the ball in the operating room, counting down from ten . I spent four agonizing days in hospital treating a massive incision in my abdomen.’

The actress recalled how her mother told her that she looked like a ghost when she first entered the living room after being released from the clinic – she was pale and very thin. “It took me weeks to sit up and walk without a cane,” Weinstein said. “I had never dealt with chronic pain before. Every day I tried not to lose my courage and not to fall into a black hole.’

Samantz was helped to fight for his life by a childhood friend, Michael Knutson. They got married in October 2022. In early May 2023, the couple traveled to Japan as a belated honeymoon.

The famous fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin died of cancer on May 2. He was 59 years old. The funeral of the designer took place at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
