The honored artist of Russia starred in the drama “Challenge”, which she presented in April together with director Klim Shipenko. For the role, Yulia underwent comprehensive flight training along with other astronauts. On the ISS, Peresild relearned to do the rituals known on Earth, including makeup and styling.

Julia showed how she created her image on one of the filming days. The 38-year-old actress appeared in a red T-shirt and blue shorts. With a pencil, the movie star colored her eyebrows, then used a lip pencil and drew a contour. Cosmetics flew in front of the former muse of Alexei the Teacher. Then Peresild applied a tone to the skin with a sponge, powdered it with a brush and smiled.

“Dear viewers! You often ask about how I did my make-up and “beauty” myself in Sosmos. Here is a video for you. I chose in advance and came up with my own make-up (we didn’t have a make-up artist at that time),” explained Yulia.

She revealed the secret of creating hair in space. It turned out that the actress prepared in advance and took a simple accessory for it. Each time, Peresild independently “filmed” the curls.

“One thing I noticed in the video of women in space is that slightly curly hair behaves beautifully in zero gravity. So I took 20 bobby pins to the ISS and twisted the bagels after each wash to make my hair curly. What was with me: powder, liquid shadows, lip pencil, hygienic lipstick, mascara, eyebrow pencil and blush, “said Yulia.

The actress of the film “Peter with the Flu” specified that she and Klim Šipenko had to change many film professions: make-up artist, cameraman, sound engineer, lighting engineer, screenwriter, costume designer, props designer, artist.
