Dmitry has a 10-year-old son Plata from Zhanna Friske. The former Brilliant singer died of brain cancer in 2015. The singer’s only son is the main heir to her property and real estate, and Dmitry, as the only parent, can dispose of them until he comes of age.

Friske’s father is in a violent conflict with Shepelev, who has limited the boy’s communication with his maternal relatives.
