And he not only accepted, but brought victory to his country thanks to the song Euphoria! Now everyone is wondering if she will be able to repeat the success. According to forecasts, they are close to this achievement. Only Irishman Johnny Logan, who won in 1980 and 1987, has so far achieved this.

Loreen was born on October 16, 1983 in Stockholm to a family of Moroccan Berber immigrants. She moved to Westeros with her family as a child and now calls this city her home. Although the parents of the future singer were Muslims, they adhered to liberal views, so they did not interfere in the creative work of their daughter. She came to the attention of the Swedish public after participating in the show Idol in 2004. There she finished fourth.

After that, Lauryn left singing for a while and worked as a television producer for several years. In 2011, however, she decided to return to the stage and took part in Melodifestivalen, a national competition where it is traditionally chosen who will represent the country at Eurovision. Luck didn’t favor Lauryn that year, but the popularity of her song gave her confidence. In 2012, Lauryn decided to hit the pageant again, and for good reason – this time she was the one who went to represent Sweden in the pageant and brought home the win.

This time, the singer is going to Eurovision with the song Tattoo, and this track brought her not only the love of bookmakers, but also problems. Lorin was accused of plagiarism, with the network noting that the track was similar to Ukrainian singer Mika Newton’s “In Captivity,” which she recorded in 2005. However, many came to Laureen’s defense, noting that Europop tunes often sound similar.
