Criminal proceedings were initiated against the TV presenter under Articles 198 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (especially large tax evasion by an individual, legalization (laundering) of dirty money on a particularly large scale or other property acquired by a person as a result of committing a crime).
In March, law enforcement officials announced that Blinovská was being investigated after several buyers of her courses wrote to police believing they had been defrauded.
