The King of Pop was embarrassed twice during his show in Kazakhstan last November. First, Philip took the stage in see-through pantyhose and then flogged a man in the audience with a bouquet. The People’s Artist of Russia commented on his behavior for the first time.
“I lost almost 25 kg,” assured Kirkorov. – And I have 27 disguises at a concert, some right on stage. Ballet dancers had to take off their pants with shorts underneath. And since I lost weight, they stole both pairs. When I realized that I was left in tattooed tights, I was horrified: “Sir, this is a Muslim country. What a horror!” Later, when I had already changed, I saw people running towards me with flowers and shouting at the guards in the hall: “Let me pass.” The guard either didn’t understand Russian or pretended to. But he didn’t let people onto the stage. In general, I had to go down and put flowers on his head. Sometimes it happens. I realize it’s not pretty. But it seemed like a provocation.”
Last week, the performer had five concerts in St. Petersburg. And from April 26 to 30, he spoke in the Kremlin. The singer said that he does not spare himself – according to him, he does everything to make the audience happy.
“As for age, I adapted to it without betraying myself and not following the lead of the audience,” said Kirkorov. “Although the audience is everything to me. These are the people who help me live and make money. And when I go on stage, I generously pay them all I can. When I was 30 years old, my concert lasted 3 hours. I will be 56 on April 30. And my concert is also 3 hours long. I don’t feel sorry for myself. And I won’t do it.’
The singer’s ex-wife Alla Pugacheva lives in exile in Israel. A year ago, Philip protected her emotionally by arguing with Margarita Simonyan. Then he said he suffered because of it. “Before my defense of Ally, the cross did not bother anyone,” Kirkorov emphasized. Many fans of the artist were afraid that he would also leave Russia. However, the pop king assured that he did not even consider such a possibility.
“I have completely ruled out this possibility. Although with Bulgarian roots, he could easily live in Bulgaria or somewhere else in Europe. But I can’t live without Russia. I’m going abroad, but after a few weeks I’m already drawn back. I have friends here, my dad, who celebrated his 90th birthday last year, here is my house, my audience. And my children adore their country, the school they go to, “said the singer in an interview with AiF.
