Stars of “Yes, It’s Wooden!”: Keanu Reeves, Stallone and others who need acting lessons

One of the most famous Hollywood actors played in the films Matrix, Speed, John Wick… However, according to critics, he always plays one-dimensionally and does not show much emotion. For that, they both love him and make fun of him: “He talks like a robot and his face hardly moves, it’s like Keanu’s mask on him.” But in the case of Reeves, such a game can be mistaken for a creative method, because it is simply impossible to accuse him of mediocrity!

Another special name for this list. But think about it: Stallone is great as Rocky or Rambo, but in other movies he seems to play the same roles! Forbes once wrote of him: “He looks like a temporary replacement for the template in modern movie franchises.”

Stallone received awards such as the Golden Raspberry more than once, but his reaction to such awards was always the same: “My films make money, leave me alone.” Of course, his words are not without irony, but there is also truth in them.

It is strange to imagine that the famous director and screenwriter needed some classes! Nevertheless, it is so. Quentin once dropped out of school to become an actor, but realized that he “loved the cinema too much to just appear in it”.

His small roles in his own films show that Tarantino is an average actor: he is too worried and exaggerated. So according to critics, his acting skills should be honed.

Ben starred in many box office films, but also repeatedly received the Golden Raspberry. It is believed that comedians find it particularly difficult to adapt to serious films. Affleck solved the problem radically – he became a director. Thanks to this, he has two Oscars in his piggy bank, and both are not for acting: in 1997, together with Matt Damon, he received a statuette for the screenplay of the film Good Will Hunting, and in 2012 – as the director of the film Argo. So even though his acting skills aren’t perfect, he has a lot of other talents!

One of the famous Hollywood hotties is known for his smile and great muscles. He smiles so often that he didn’t get a few big roles – the directors just couldn’t get him to look serious! “It wasn’t possible… I tried five times, then we shook hands and said goodbye,” recalls the actor.

In 2019, he was cast as serial killer Ted Bundy, and many critics said he over-romanticized his life. So acting skills in a new field can really be pumped up!

In 2012, the actor won the Razzie Awards, received all ten nominations, and three years later, the new film The Ridiculous Six received 0 points on one of the American film sites. “I don’t shoot to please the critics. I make people laugh,” says Sandler. In a 2008 interview, he was even more blunt: “I’m not very talented and I don’t look perfect, but I’m still a multi-millionaire.” Don’t take this!

Will Smith’s son has many doors open, so he started acting from childhood. But if in his childhood he was just a pretty kid from whom nothing special was required, then he acted in several films that failed at the box office. Only the film “After Earth”, in which Jayden starred with his father, achieved relative success.

He tried in anime, but even there the critics’ evaluation was not at all favorable. On Twitter, the guy calls himself “the future of music, photography, and the film industry,” but his skills clearly need improvement.
