Ryan Reynolds and his wife and daughters are moving from Hollywood to the remote English countryside April 10, 2023, 4:15 pm

The Hollywood macho two years ago became a co-owner of the professional club Wrexham from the town of the same name in North Wales. The affairs of the team, which was previously in deep decline, are gradually improving, but in order for the wards to achieve great success, Ryan decided to take everything under personal control.

The actor bought a house in the UK for 1.5 million pounds (135 million rubles). The estate is situated in a small village five miles from Wrexham. The house has four bedrooms and a spacious yard. Reynolds will move here with his wife Blake Lively and their children – 8-year-old James, 6-year-old Inez, 3-year-old Betty and a newborn daughter who was born in February.

The new home is in stark contrast to the luxury £4.3m mansion in New York where the couple have lived in recent years. “Ryan’s moving to Marford and that’s all the locals are talking about. His house is on the side of the road. The most famous person from Marford is Tim Vincent from Blue Peter, so being a Hollywood star is a step up! It might not be the Big Apple, but the red carpet will roll out when Ryan hits town,” the source said.

Ryan bought the football club with a friend, 45-year-old Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney. They have invested £10 million in the team and are fighting for promotion to the Football League. Wrexham will face Notts County at their home stadium for top spot in the table. Experts noted that the actors were able to transform the Welsh team.

Last year the Welsh team reached the Wembley final and finished second in the national league. The Deadpool actor’s presence at the stadium is paying off – Wrexham matches are selling record numbers of tickets, according to The Sun.

Ryan admitted his wife wasn’t particularly happy when he told her he had bought the football club. “I remember Blake saying, ‘I’ve got bad news, and I’ve got really bad news. It’s like stepping into someone else’s computer game. I bought half of a fifth-tier club in Wales,” the artist recalled. Nevertheless, Lively supported the chosen one – in May last year she supported Wrexham with him in a match against Bromley at Wembley Stadium in London.

In addition to a great career in Hollywood, Ryan is making great strides in business. He recently sold his stake in Mint Mobile for $1.35 billion. This is just one of the many investments Ryan has put his money into.
