The forty-seven-year-old former prima ballerina repeatedly complained about the working conditions at the Velký divadl. She believed she was unfairly kicked out of the group. Last year, Anastasia already filed a lawsuit at the Tver Court in Moscow, but then her complaint was not upheld.

The star believes that the management of the Great Theater owes her a salary for 18 years of work. Despite leaving the troupe in 2003, Volochkova was still performed in the theater. She was supposed to receive the money every month, but it allegedly did not happen.

“We are now waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court. In fact, if the court judges according to the law, then the decision will definitely be in our favor. But, unfortunately, in this case there is more politics than law, “said Yevgeny Korchago, the star’s lawyer with the Zvezdach telegram.

Anastasia has been working in the Great Theater since 1998. The reason for her dismissal was her physical form, which allegedly did not meet the requirements, and it was impossible for Volochkova to find a partner. The height of the ballerina was 172 centimeters and her weight was 55 kilograms. However, Anastasia herself believes that she was fired because of a breakup with an influential person.
