  1. I “enchanted” the role of Katya. In an interview, Ekaterina Shpitsa said that she really wanted to get a role in the TV series Katya: Military History (2009). For this, after numerous rehearsals, she returned home and fell asleep thinking about the role. In addition, she wrote magical notes with life-affirming formulations under her pillow, and also visualized the goal and meditated with thoughts on the role. After the release of the series, she realized that the effort was not in vain. She started getting job offers.
  2. Until recently, she hid her pregnancy on set. In the movie “Metro” (2012), the actress was supposed to play the role of Alice – a girl suffering from asthma and found herself in the very center of the disaster. Katerina Shpitsa recalled that she became pregnant at the beginning of filming, but did not inform anyone so as not to draw attention to herself. She had to confess when the question of revising the work plan on the painting arose. Then it turned out she wasn’t the only pregnant woman on set. Actress Elena Panova was also there. According to Ekaterina, she was lucky that her stomach appeared when she had already completed the most technically demanding shoot.
  3. Feeding the baby on the scene. Catherine’s son Herman was born on February 25, 2012, and already on March 13, Spitz auditioned for the film Poddubny (2014). In order not to miss a feeding, her husband and child went with her. Konstantin, the husband of Ekaterina Spitz, whose photo from that time can be found on the website, took care of the child in the dressing room when the actress was auditioning. As Catherine said, she agreed to act on the condition that she would have the opportunity to feed the child not on schedule, but when he asked. According to Ekaterina, the group only had to wait 40 minutes once when feeding Herman. The main problem was in removing the corset. Catherine always needed the help of two dressers.
  4. The child is the main priority in her life. The actress said in an interview that after the birth of the child, she learned to prioritize and value time. Katya Shpitsa always chooses the latter between additional income and time with her son. According to her, if the project is interesting, she tries to organize her work in such a way that she has the opportunity to spend time with her child at least one day a week (Saturday or Sunday).
  5. Books on psychology help her find a common language with her mother. After the birth of her grandson, Galina Fedorovna – Ekaterina’s mother – resigned from the position of head of the personnel department at the Court of Appeals and Arbitration in order to spend more time with him. She moved to Moscow to Catherine. According to the actress, it was not easy for them to find a common language after many years of separation, so she makes her mother read books on psychology, so it is easier for mother and daughter to come to an understanding.

On social networks, the actress said that she was diagnosed with such a diagnosis in childhood. According to Ekaterina, as a child she involuntarily combed her skin until it bled. After many years of strict diet and medication, the disease subsided. Since the age of 18, remission has occurred.

  10. She delivered the dress from Dubai for Kinotavr. In 2019, the actress stunned the guests of the film festival by appearing on the red carpet in an unusual dress. Ekaterina Shpitsa, whose photo was circulated by many media and social networks, said that the dress was made especially for her by an Arab designer. The clothes were planned to be sent on a direct flight from Dubai to Sochi, but the pilot with whom it was arranged refused to carry the clothes because their packaging exceeded the accepted dimensions of hand luggage. The dress had to be sent with friends to St. Petersburg when they paid for the luggage, and from there Svetlana Kamynina brought it to Sochi.
