“I got carried away that I gained 19 kg”: Laysan Utyasheva showed how she looked after a sharp change in weight 04/01/2023, 09:35

Over the years of her sports career, the student of Irina Vinner got used to a hard schedule, personal discipline and strict food restrictions. Laysan continued to race despite numerous injuries and surgeries, but in 2006 her knee blew out and she was put in a cast. After that, she decided to leave the big sport.

The girl began a difficult period in her life. “I will share my bitter experience. When my sports career ended, I developed post-sports depression, which is quite common for athletes. Before, I was somehow ashamed to talk about it, but now I understand that it will be very useful for someone to know and hear, ”said Utyasheva.

The winner of the World Cup in rhythmic gymnastics after leaving the national team did not know how to spend the time freed from many hours of daily training. In addition, Laysan enthusiastically ate what she had not been able to afford for many years. “Then I lay at home and ate my depression on toast with a doctor’s sausage. No exaggeration. I drank instant coffee with condensed milk, bought chips, seeds and other dirt, “the athlete admitted.

The presenter of the “Dance” program assured that at first she did not feel the danger in such a radical change of lifestyle. She didn’t blame herself and believed that she was just making up for the joys she missed in childhood and adolescence. “I got carried away so much that I gained 19 kilograms,” the star was horrified.

The wife of comedian Pavel Volya showed how she looked after a sharp increase in weight. Fortunately, Utyasheva was able to stop herself in time when she realized that the excess weight was causing her discomfort, and she could not repeat the basic exercises from the recent past. “Well, according to the classics, all this was followed by endless advice from girlfriends and various diets from the Internet, because of which I almost planted a liver,” complained the gymnast.

As a result, the girl opened her sports diary, where doctors wrote everything, and understood how she should move forward. Laysan switched to proper nutrition and allowed regular exercise again. In addition, she underwent a complete examination, passed tests and found out why she had been overeating all this time. The result was not long in coming, and soon the girl returned to her usual form. “My dears, I just want to remind everyone that knowing the processes taking place in the body is the way to a healthy weight,” added Utyasheva.
