The former singer of the Hi-Fi group has been working with Rifat for a long time. In 2007, Zamukanov moved to Moscow from Orenburg. The sound engineer met the artist at the Opera club in the capital, where Mitya had a solo concert. They became friends. The long-term cooperation and communication was interrupted by the death of Rifat. Fomin declared that the “Bashkir swordsman”, as he called his friend, was no more.
“I will remember you as such, charismatic, with a unique sense of humor, always optimistic and cheerful… We will all miss you very much in this new life. My faithful sound engineer, who has been listening to me almost non-stop for 10 years since I started performing on my own, is my faithful squire, if, of course, you consider the microphone a weapon, “said Mitya.
The performer of the hit “Everything will be fine” described the friend that he loves his work and gives him a lot of strength. According to Mitya, Rifat had a charm that attracted people. Zamukanov was often the center of attention.
“You were unique and surrounded by interesting people, wonderful stories, you could charm, fall in love and spout incredible stories like Baron Munchausen! Every now and then, laugh at it in a foreign language and catch a sea of compliments, because you are the soul of the company! You will forever remain in our hearts! Fly, our dear Rifate, towards the eternal music in which you will be completely happy!” — said the 49-year-old singer.
The death of Fomin’s friend hit hard. The artist admitted that he could not hold back the tears and came up with a message for him. Mitya sincerely wanted to save Rifat. “What this earth could not give you, may heaven more than compensate you! It cannot be otherwise, but there must be balance in everything, as in good sound, Lord! I’m crying… And I’m sorry I didn’t save it. Rest in peace,” added Fomin.
Zamukanov worked as a sound engineer in many famous clubs. In Moscow, Rifat had his own music studio, he made commercial arrangements.
