“I lost consciousness”: Irina Kobzeva almost died on the set 28.03.2023, 15:50

The 34-year-old actress took part in the filming of the film “Strange House” directed by Maxim Maximov. The film will be released on April 6. The main character Elena finds herself in a difficult situation. He gets into a car accident in which he loses his parents. The girl needs psychological help, but her husband thinks otherwise. The husband takes Elena to a house in the forest. Every day he notices that the building stands in a new place.

The role in the thriller was a debut for Kobzeva. However, she almost sacrificed her health for the sake of the frame. Tricks for Irina were the most difficult.

“I remember one of the shooting days when I was tasked to fall into the water in a special pool set up for filming and slowly sink to the bottom. It seemed like a simple task, but I started having panic attacks and passed out after the second attempt. They pumped me for several hours, ”explained Irina.

The native of Kyiv admitted that the director was outraged by what happened. However, the troubles did not end there. The model was given a new task: stand up sharply, quickly run to the door, open it and fall into the abyss. Kobzeva took out insurance, but that didn’t stop her fear.

“It was so insanely scary that I even started crying. And I wanted to run away from the shooting. The other day they put me in a car without wearing a seat belt. To make the shots more exciting and realistic, on special devices where the car was fixed, they began to rotate the car sharply around its axis. I was flying from side to side all over the cabin. I got a lot of scrapes and bruises there. But what can’t you do for beautiful live shots, “said Irina in an interview with the Passion publication.

Kobzeva never dreamed of shooting a movie. She planned to pursue a career in modeling. Irina collaborated with glossy publications, appeared in advertising campaigns for famous brands. Her first acting experience was work in the videos of Ani Lorak, Sergey Lazarev, Stas Piekha. After that, she decided to get a higher acting education. Irina studied at the Arka Higher Film School and then at the Shchukin Theater School.
