The actor went to the beach where he was going to go snorkeling. This sport is swimming underwater with a snorkel. But tragedy struck.

The rescuers found the body of the deceased: the examination showed that it was Peter. The actor’s brother confirmed the tragic news. Michael said the whole family was shocked by the incident.

“Our wonderful friend drowned. He was 66 years old and looked like a Greek god. I loved spending time with him that we no longer have,” wrote friend of the artist Andy Burns. He added that Peter was not only an amazing actor, but also a great singer and guitarist.

Hardy rose to prominence after starring in the TV series Neighbors in 1997. He also starred in the hit series Dr. Blake, The Stingers, McLeod’s Daughters and Thresholds of Time. Peter was not going to leave the world of cinema: he was making plans for the next shooting.
