Yesterday, March 13, the comedy series “Cafe Cuba” began to air on the TNT channel – the story of the hostess and visitors of a provincial establishment on the federal highway. It is led by a bright and very vivacious woman named Tamara, played by Marina Fedunkiv. The actress is known to many viewers for the role of Kolyan’s mother in the TV series “Real Boys”, as well as for participating in the Comedy Woman show. In recent years, Fedunkiv has also tried field musicals, so it is not surprising that she also recorded a soundtrack for the new project. “Roadside Cafe” belongs to Alice Nte, who even managed to project the plot of the series into the text.
The show will feature the song “Roadside Cafe” closer to the season finale, but you can listen to it today on radio and streaming platforms.
“I believe that almost every woman, no matter who she is, where she comes from and how old she is, her whole life is like a “Roadside Cafe” – either open or full of secrets,” explained Marina Fedunkiv. – That’s what the song is about. In it, I told both my story and the story of my heroine from “Cafe” Kuba “” – Tamara. Yes, for the most part, many will recognize themselves in the text. The song, like almost everything with me, is funny. I hope it’s a hit.”
“Cafe” Cuba “” is a nostalgic series directed by “Univer” and “Real Boys” Zhanna Kadnikova. The main character Tamara once opened a roadside business with her husband, the interior of which is created in the spirit of the Island of Freedom, but soon her husband left for Natalya (Maria Smolnikova). Years later, the owner of the house appears on the doorstep of the cafe and says that their common husband has died and she wants a share of the inheritance. So two women who hate each other will have to become partners. The story of the series takes place in 2003 with all the hallmarks of the time: flip phones, low-rise jeans fashion and the scandalous show “Windows” on TV.
The series “Cafe” Cuba “” runs weekdays at 20:00 on the TNT channel. The event dedicated to the launch of the comedy project took place last week in the center of Moscow. Marina Fedunkiv and Maria Smolnikova stood at the buffet with pictures of their heroines. The actresses treated the guests to timeless Russian refreshments on coupons.
