The 95th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards were held in Los Angeles. The stars traditionally gathered on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre. Edward Berger’s war drama Peace on the Western Front won the coveted statuette as the best foreign film.

The picture was shot in German. Filming began in Prague (Czech Republic) in March 2021 and lasted about two months. The budget of the film was 20 million dollars.
Navalny, an American film directed by Daniel Roer, won the Oscar for best documentary. The politician’s wife and children attended the ceremony.
