Megan brought humanitarian aid to the center – clothes for women and babies, toys and hygiene items necessary to care for newborns. In addition, she donated to the organization through the Archewell Foundation, which she and her husband created after they resigned their royal powers and moved to the United States.

Megan chose a stylish all-black look – in the company she wore a woolen sweater and cropped trousers with a cashmere coat by Max Mara worth $4,000 (more than 300 thousand rubles). Her image was completed with a small handbag and stylish mules in milk color.

The photos of the Duchess of Sussex in the orphanage were published by Omid Scobie, who is called the “pocket” journalist of the disgraced couple of the British family. He co-authored the book Finding Freedom, which describes Megzit in detail. Harvest Home volunteers say their work is changing the lives of pregnant homeless women and their babies. They are provided with housing, support and programs to help women get out of difficult situations and become great mothers, the Daily Mail reports.

The Los Angeles County Department of Health reports that 5,000 women are homeless at some point in their pregnancy each year. There are 70 beds available for them, Harvest Home provides 28 of them.

“As a campaigner for women’s rights and a supporter of mothers and families in need, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex celebrated International Women’s Day at Harvest Home. This valuable organization helps provide housing, mental health support and activities to mothers-to-be who are facing tremendous challenges, including domestic violence, substance abuse and homelessness,” says the Archiwell website.
