Musicians came to the theater, which was founded by Alexander Gradsky, eight years ago. Already in the first year of their existence, they played more than 20 different programs of chamber music. The orchestra organized a cycle of concerts “Scriabin’s evenings” with light and colorful music, performed programs in a small hall of the theater. In addition, the musician was played as part of a large diverse orchestra together with Gradsky and his team – students of Alexander Borisovich, participants and winners of “The Voice”.
Recently, however, representatives of the Gradský Hall Orchestra announced that their story had ended. They pointed out that since the opening of the theater they have always been together: they rehearsed, performed, hung out, held “green” concerts, went on trips and together saw Alexander Borisovich on his last trip.

The emergence of a new leadership led by Alexander Rybnikov led to negative changes, the statement said. Decisions began to be made without the musicians’ knowledge. They were faced with reality, forced to leave their jobs. It turned out that the musicians found a replacement.
“Some time ago, a competition for an orchestra for live venues was announced behind our backs. The entire string group (10 people) was replaced without being informed of the new creative plans. After recruiting a new line-up, the orchestra inspector assigned by Rybnikov began calling us to work the previous evening, although no rehearsals were scheduled. This was done to relieve us of absence and force us to quit. Why didn’t the musicians of the orchestra announce the new plans in person? Probably due to cowardice,” the statement said.
The musicians decided to end their work in the theater. They assured that the management had saved on them. Team members want to keep the memory of what Alexander Borisovich created.
“But that’s not all.” The authorities turned out to be not only cowardly, but also greedy: in the final settlement, they left us without extra fees. Well, Mr. Rybnikov probably needs more of them. 8 years ago we came to the theater as one team and now also – the chamber orchestra leaves at the same time in full force to protect it from destruction, to preserve everything that AB created – to preserve at least in our memory and in memory of our grateful listeners.
