A flamboyant couple of the British monarchy visited South Wales. Kate Middleton looked chic in a white turtleneck and flared plaid button-front midi skirt. This model from budget brand Zara cost a royal just £20 (Rs 1,800).

In the chilly weather, the Princess of Wales donned a cream coat from her favorite fashion house, Alexander McQueen. She completed her look with a Mulberry bag and Gianvito Rossi suede heeled boots. The heir to the throne’s wife was given a subtle daytime make-up, her hair was lightly straightened with an iron and left loose.

Representatives of the monarchy met with local communities to support mental health initiatives. The funny situation with the couple happened while visiting Aberavon Fitness Center in Port Talbot. They were asked to complete a 45-second race on a stationary bike that simulates riding up a hill. “You have high heels,” Prince William told his wife, not doubting his victory. “I’m not sure I’m dressed for it,” Kate agreed.

Nevertheless, the princess immediately set a high tone and even asked to increase the resistance of the simulator. As a result, she passed her husband, was declared the winner of the Tour de Aberavon and was awarded a small cup. The Princess of Wales comforted her husband with a friendly pat on the shoulder. At the centre, the royals toured the gymnasiums, the 25m swimming pool and interacted with children from Tywin Primary School who played a range of indoor sports, including athletics and gymnastics. Welsh professional athletes including Harrison Walsh and Hannah Brier also attended the meeting, reports the Daily Mail.

Kate headed straight for the group of girls in beautiful swimsuits. When the guest was asked if she could sit during the breaks, she laughed: “I used to be able to do it when I was little, but now I have to train hard before that.”

Six-year-old Grace Evans showed the couple apart and Middleton made a rare revelation about 7-year-old Princess Charlotte. “My little daughter likes to do it too,” she said. Seven-year-old Rafael Vasquez, from Swansea, presented the Prince and Princess with a set of Welsh swimwear for their children George, Charlotte and Louise.
